Well, Halloween is over and done with – and now it’s time to worry about Thanksgiving! How did our country ever get into the annual habit of cooking birds that are bigger than most house-pets? Have you ever had a unique or unusual experience, trying to cook one of those gigantic gobblers? Tell us your turkey terror tales – and feel free to share any other Thanksgiving stories you have to tell, too!

Thanksgiving 1976 I was eating up a storm. My baby was due in 2 weeks but that Thanksgiving Day I ate at Grandma's house for lunch and my plate was loaded. I ate dinner at my parents house and again my plate was loaded. Two hours later I was eating roasted peanuts like they were going out of style. My hubby could not get over how much food I had consumed that day. Guess what? The next day my son was born. There was no more room for food and baby.
